Our Story

Hound was founded in 2024 by two California based gym enthusiasts. Both shared their passions for weightlifting, fitness, and invention. After working together on another project they realized they made a good team and decided to partner up to launch Hound.

Hound was started with the intention of giving the precision of personal trainers to everyone - at a much lower cost. We believe that weight training begins with the barbell, which is why we designed Hound to augment this tool specifically.
